LGBTQ Resources
“The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit organization for LGBTQ+ young people. We provide information & support to LGBTQ+ young people 24/7, all year round.” Crisis counselors are trained to answer calls, chats, or texts from LGBTQ+ young people who reach out on our free, confidential and secure 24/7 service when they are struggling with issues such as coming out, LGBTQ+ identity, depression, and suicide. Trans Lifeline provides peer support, advocacy and micro grant information ‘run by and for trans people.’
Women and girls
The organization provides mental health, life skills, and housing programs to empower girls and women eligible for Medicaid or free/reduced lunch to achieve sustainable success. Its services include counseling, mentorship, leadership development, and therapeutic housing for system-involved young adults, supported by community and corporate partnerships.
Young Women Empowered cultivates the power of diverse young women to be creative leaders and courageous changemakers through transformative programs within a collaborative community of belonging.

Other Online Resources
Teen Link is a peer-to-peer support line. Teen Link is a program of Crisis Connections that serves youth in Washington State.
Our teen volunteers are trained to listen to your concerns and talk with you about whatever’s on your mind – bullying, drug and alcohol concerns, relationships, stress, depression or any other issues you’re facing. No issue is too big or too small! Calls and chats are confidential.

Atlantic Street Center’s mission is to support families and communities with raising healthy, successful children and youth through direct services and advocacy for social justice and equity. We provide wrap-around services including early education, family support, and behavioral health services to families in need within King County, Seattle and North Pierce County.
King County offers a continuum of programs and services for youth, starting with connecting youth to community and promoting their mental health and wellbeing, responding to youth in crisis, preventing substance use, intervening early, and offering options for treatment and support in recovery.
