NAMI SEATTLE’S
Peer-to-Peer Class
NAMI Peer-to-Peer is an eight-session educational and skills-building class series for people with mental health symptoms/diagnoses (age 18 and older). This program is guided by peer facilitators with their own lived experience. Together, participants learn skills and make realistic goals with the reminder that recovery is a journey, and that there is hope. Basic information about treatments for mental health conditions is provided but NAMI Seattle does not recommend or endorse any medications or other specific therapies.
Taught by trained leaders with lived experience, this program includes activities, discussions and informative videos.




What You’ll Gain
NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a safe, confidential space. The course provides an opportunity for mutual support and growth. Experience compassion and understanding from people who relate to your experiences. This is a place to learn more about recovery in an accepting environment.
NAMI Peer-to-Peer helps you:

NAMI Peer-to-Peer gave me hope when I was close to giving up. I realized that things can and do get better and that my mental health condition doesn’t define me.
