About NAMI support groups: NAMI support groups are are free, drop-in, and peer-led. Observers (including students) are not permitted to attend. Never been to a NAMI support group? Get involved: NAMI support groups are led by community volunteers – no expertise is necessary to take our facilitator training, just personal experience with mental health conditions (as an individual or family member) and a desire to provide support and connection to others. We are always looking for more support group volunteers. Contact Vince to learn more about how to get involved!

Bipolar Support Group

Note: This group has switched from Tuesday meetings to Mondays.

Black, Indigenous and People of Color Support Group

Open to all BIPOC individuals looking for mental health support and connection. Connection Support Group

ECT Support Group

Open to anyone who has experienced ECT (electroconvulsive therapy), or who is considering ECT for themselves. Family Support Group

Note: The 3rd Saturday meetings of this group take place in person at St. James Cathedral in the First Hill neighborhood. There will be no Zoom meetings on these days. Click here for more detailed instructions from the group facilitators.

LGBTQ+ Support Group

Note: This group is currently on break to give our volunteer facilitators a chance to rest and recharge. We look forward to meeting again soon!

This group is open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and other queer-identifying and gender-nonconforming folx who want to explore the intersections of sexuality, gender, and mental health in a safe and welcoming space.Day: 1st & 3rd ThursdaysTime: 6:30-8:00pm

Partners, Siblings & Friends Support Group

This support group is open to partners, siblings, and close friends of anyone living with a mental illness. Compartiendo Esperanza: Spanish Language Support Group

¡Únanse a este grupo de apoyo para adultos viviendo con condiciones relacionadas a la salud mental! Sabemos que todos tenemos salud mental igual como tenemos salud física, pero aún existe un estigma en hablar de estos temas. Por eso, queremos ofrecer la oportunidad de enfocarnos en ese aspecto de nuestras vidas con este grupo. Es importante tener un lugar donde podemos procesar nuestras emociones y pensamientos sin pena de sentirnos juzgados y a la misma vez podemos aprender de las experiencias de los otros participantes. Este grupo será facilitado por Jeliel Peña y Mayra Meraz y es completamente gratis para la comunidad. Este grupo se reunirá virtualmente cada lunes empezando el 13 de junio a las 6:30pm – 8pm. Appreciative Living Learning Circle

Social support group for adults age 21-40 with mental health conditions. This group has met since 2011 and is currently meeting via Zoom due to COVID. If you are interested in meeting weekly with others to share gratitude for what is good in our lives and to get to know others through activities and games, please join us!
