Helpline

Please note: Our response time for all Helpline messages is currently 3-5 days. We are working to find and train volunteers to increase our ability to respond more quickly.  However, we respond to ALL messages we receive! Email and text are currently the quickest ways to reach us.

NAMI Seattle operates a mental health referral and information Helpline to connect callers to the support and resources that they need.
Call or text (425) 298-5315. We return all messages we receive. You can also reach us by email at helpline@namiseattle.org.

For more details about our Helpline and to submit a Helpline contact form, please click here.

*PLEASE NOTE: The Helpline is not a crisis line and we are unable to assist with crisis intervention, although we can always refer you to a crisis hotline.*

Support Groups

Please note: Due to the pandemic, all NAMI Seattle groups are meeting online only. Some groups may resume in-person meetings in Fall 2021.

All support groups hosted by NAMI Seattle are free, drop-in, and peer-led. Observers (including students) are not permitted to attend NAMI support groups. Never been to a NAMI support group? No problem!  Our What To Expect guide walks you through some common questions and answers about attending your first support group.

Below the list of NAMI Seattle support groups you’ll find a list of other mental health support groups based in the Seattle area. To view all online NAMI support groups offered across Washington state, visit NAMI Washington’s support group page.
