Depressed Cake Shop is a community event where attendees can purchase treats made by dedicated and talented local bakers. These confections are gray and dull on the outside, but on the inside they are brightly colored – and, of course, all around tasty!

Why gray? The treats’ gray, dark outsides represent depression. On the inside, the rainbows and other bright colors symbolize hope. Based on the national Depressed Cake Shop model, all proceeds from this event support NAMI Seattle’s programs.
