Get Ready for NAMI Walks 2022!

We are SO excited to be back in person with NAMI Walks Your Way Washington on Saturday, June 4th at Marina Park in Kirkland! NAMI Walks is a statewide event bringing our community together to fight the stigma of mental illness, promote mental health for all, and raise funds for NAMI’s free community programs, resources, and support groups. In addition to the in-person event, we will continue running our virtual Walk Your Way which has helped to keep us connected over the last two years.

Below are a few ways you can get involved in this important event:

Start or Join a Walk Team

Registration is through NAMI Washington and can be found here: NAMI Walks Registration. You can start your own team or join an existing one, then invite friends and family to fundraise with you! Personalize your fundraising page with your picture, your story, and/or why you support mental health for all. Once you have your fundraising page set up, you can share it via email or share on social media.

When it comes to participating in the walk event, you have the option to either:

  • Attend the in-person walk on Saturday, June 4th at Marina Park in Kirkland. The NAMI Seattle team will see you and your teammates there!
  • OR participate completely virtually by coming together with your team for your own local activity or meet-up, or by helping us spread the word on social media.

Raise Awareness on Social Media

Aside from using social media to promote your fundraising page, you can also help us create content to share and promote the event. Using the tools below you can either
