NAMI Virtual Presentations

NAMI Seattle now offers Ending the Silence and In Our Own Voice presentations virtually! Hear peers with lived experiences openly share about their relationship with a mental health condition.

Ending the Silence (ETS)

Led by a pair of trained volunteers with lived experiences, these sessions provide education on the warning signs and symptoms of mental health conditions, how to recognize them early, and the importance of acknowledging those signs. Designed for and available to middle and high school students, parents, and teachers.

I think the presentation was very timely, and I love the story-driven set-up! I think it opens up a fabulous conversation in our workplace that we are ALL managing our mental health.”

In Our Own Voice (IOOV)

Led by a pair of trained volunteers with lived experiences, the presenters talk openly about their experiences and address the attitudes, assumptions and stereotypes about people with mental health conditions. Available to any group that would like to schedule one.

“I felt really connected with Aislin when she shared her experience in the beginning because I’m going through the same thing” (Age 15)
